ANNUAL BOARD MEETING 2021
DEAR PROPERTY OWNERS
This communication is to advise you that our annual PROPERTY OWNERS meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM, May 22, 2021 at the Barrio Logan Branch library located at 567 S 28th Street, San Diego, Ca 92113. Our hope and assumption is that an in person meeting will be possible. In the event that this is not possible a ZOOM link will be provided and will be available via our website or Facebook page.
We are very much aware of the Covid 19 impact and challenges to both property owners, tenants and other residents of our district and the city at-large. The year 2020 tested the perseverance of our neighbors as well as staff to remain positive, healthy and resilient in the face of the Corona virus devastation.
Despite these difficult circumstances our employees have performed their duties without interruption or reduction in service. Our crew has remained healthy and fortunately all have been vaccinated. We continue to provide five day per week cleaning of sidewalks, trash pick-up, watering of trees and graffiti removal services. An increase in the homeless population has required patience and awareness from our employees.
At our meeting of March 10, 2021, the Board of Directors voted to increase the MAD tax by 10% to meet
The increase in the minimum wage which has increased to $ 15.00 per hour which became effective January 1, 2021. Also, at the upcoming annual meeting an election will be conducted to fill three board of director positions.
We urge all property owners to attend this meeting at Logan Branch library or via ZOOM whichever is
most convenient. The Board of Directors of CCDRC welcomes the interest and participation of property
owners who would enjoy the participation of board duties and membership.
